  • Fancy vivid and fancy intense yellow, pink, blue diamonds and beyond, sourced individually and certified by GIA. Reserved for the rarest natural color saturations in the market.

THE PRIVATE ACQUISITION

 

1. Private Consultation

Every acquisition begins with a private conversation, in person or by appointment, where your requirements are discussed in detail: stone type, carat range, color and clarity preferences, budget, and intended use, whether for a bespoke commission or a standalone investment piece. There is no obligation at this stage, and no information is shared beyond this conversation.

2. Ethical Sourcing

Claudia sources directly from established supplier networks and cutting houses, without intermediaries, prioritizing stones with documented, conflict-free origins in line with Kimberley Process standards. Every sourcing route is chosen for traceability as much as quality, so the provenance of a stone can be accounted for from mine to market.

3. Curation

A curated shortlist is presented for your review, each stone accompanied by full documentation: cut, color, clarity, carat weight, and origin. You assess the options directly, in person where possible, before deciding which stone or stones to proceed with.

4. Due Diligence

Each stone is independently certified by a recognized gemological institute prior to purchase confirmation, verifying authenticity, grading, and, where applicable, treatment status. This certification accompanies the stone permanently and forms part of the documentation delivered with your purchase.

5. Acquisition

Once a stone has been selected, SLIMMS coordinates the transaction and associated documentation. Delivery is arranged under secure, insured transport to your specified address, including bonded vaults. Every shipment is tracked in transit, and delivery is confirmed against the original order and certification records.


6. Secure Storage

On request, we arrange access to bonded storage and help you select a suitable security solution. SLIMMS can also connect you with established insurers offering both storage and wear coverage for fine jewelry.

PROVENANCE & CERTIFICATION

Every exceptional stone carries a story. Where it was formed, how it was sourced, whether it has been treated or heated, what can be identified about its rarity and origin.

At SLIMMS, these details are non-negotiable part of our verification standards, selecting for rarity, quality, and provenance.

Every acquisition is accompanied by independent laboratory certification and expert documentation. Natural origin, characteristics, and treatment status.

Discretion does not come at the expense of transparency, each client receives the documentation appropriate to the stone they are acquiring.

For significant stones, additional laboratory reports, appraisals, and specialist assessments are arranged upon request.
