Slimms operates as a private diamond brokerage and fine jewelry house, offering designs that are classic and timeless.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases, including brokerage/sourcing and acquisition services and any other services offered by Slimms, unless otherwise varied in writing and signed by both Slimms and the purchaser (“Purchaser”). Any reference to time shall be of the essence unless otherwise specified.

If any provision of this agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions, which shall remain in effect to reflect the parties’ original intentions. Slimms and the Purchaser agree that the proper law of this contract shall be the State of Queensland, Australia, and submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

Production

All Slimms pieces are handmade and custom-made; refunds or exchanges are not available. Each item is crafted to your individual, unique order.

  • Slimms does not mass-produce or hold inventory of jewelry.

  • Once your order is placed, our in-house jewelers begin crafting your piece from scratch by hand.

  • All pieces are made using 14K or 18K gold, unless stated and agreed upon.

Production Timeframe

  • January – October: Estimated lead time is 2–7 weeks from payment.

  • Mid-October – December (Christmas/New Year period): Lead time is approximately 5–9 weeks from payment.

Terms of Sale

Slimms provides an end-to-end digital experience. These Terms are linked and listed prior to checkout.

  • At checkout, you must confirm that you have thoroughly read and understood these Terms.

  • Payment plans are available; however, items will only be shipped once the final amount is paid.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

Once your order is received, our artisans begin handcrafting your piece.

If you do not know your ring size at checkout, please contact our team for guidance.

Delivery

  • All pieces are shipped via express post with signature required upon delivery.

  • If delivery is attempted while you are unavailable, the parcel will be held at your local post office.

  • Uncollected items may be returned to Slimms. Additional reshipment fees are the responsibility of the client.

  • Pickups are available by request.

Refunds, Exchanges & Change of Mind

All Slimms pieces are handcrafted to your specifications. Refunds, exchanges, or returns are not available.

Resizing and Remaking

  • We recommend confirming your size before production.

  • Slimms offers resizing within 3 sizes up or down, subject to design constraints.

  • If resizing exceeds our parameters, the piece may need to be remade to maintain structural integrity.

  • Resize fees range from $150–$700. Additional charges may apply for rhodium plating.

  • Costs vary depending on metal type and setting style. Contact us via email with your order number for assistance.

Warranty and Repairs

  • All items include a 6-month warranty covering manufacturing defects (proof of purchase required).

  • Exclusions: normal wear and tear, oxidation/fading of plating, broken chains, cracked stones, bending, or damage caused by misuse.

  • Manufacturing defects within 6 months will be repaired free of charge.

  • Slimms offers a limited lifetime warranty on Engagement and Wedding Ring designs, covering production faults not detected during quality control.

  • Warranty is void if the piece is altered by a third party or shows signs of extreme misuse.

  • Repairs not covered by warranty will incur charges based on the work required.

Communication & Social Media

We respect client privacy. Social media communications are conducted with discretion. Public images featuring engagements or proposals may occasionally be reshared by Slimms, only with a respectful and celebratory focus.

Custom Design

  • Custom designs created by Slimms become the intellectual property of Slimms.

  • All design changes and features developed by Slimms remain the property of Slimms.

Diamond Brokerage/Sourcing Acquisition and Fine Jewelry Terms of Sale

1. Role of the Company

Slimms operates as an independent diamond broker and sourcing agent, facilitating procurement of natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, gemstones, and custom jewelry from international suppliers, including dealers within the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre.

2. Diamond Specifications

All diamonds are sold according to grading reports issued by recognized gemological laboratories, including but not limited to:

  • Gemological Institute of America (GIA)

  • International Gemological Institute (IGI)

The grading report is considered the final authority on a diamond’s specifications.

3. Pricing

  • Due to market fluctuations, quotations are valid for 24–48 hours unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices are subject to change until a deposit or full payment is received.

4. Deposits

  • A deposit is required to secure a diamond or begin custom jewelry production.

  • Loose diamonds: 100% payment to secure the stone.

  • Custom jewelry: 50% deposit to begin production.

  • Deposits are non-refundable once the diamond is sourced or manufacturing begins.

5. Custom Jewelry

  • All custom jewelry is made to order and final sale.

  • Design specifications will be confirmed prior to manufacturing.

6. Memo Diamonds

  • Diamonds sourced on memorandum remain the property of the supplier until full payment is received.
